May 10th was an incredible night, and it was also the first time that I got to witness the beautiful Northern Lights.
I spent most of the night up Latrigg, a small fell near Keswick, UK. I was up there with a couple of friends, Jonny and Al, and the sky absolutely exploded with colour! Visible to the naked eye, the aurora presented unbelievable patterns.
This photo captures the silhouettes of some bystanders higher up on the fell, as they're bathed in the majestic lights of lady aurora.
